Elizabeth Jane Hurley has been a model and actress in the United Kingdom since the early 1980s. In 1990 there was speculation that she might have been Hugh Grant's girlfriend. When Grant was the center of media attention due to his international box-office success in Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied Grant in an elongated black Versace dress that was secured with gold safety pins. Her appearance gained immediate fame in the media. Hurley has enjoyed a thriving career, but her relationship to Estee Lauder cosmetics is the most important. It offered Hurley her first modeling job when she was just 29 and has used as models for its cosmetics, specifically perfumes such as Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures since 1995. Vanessa Kensington is her best known role from the Mike Myers spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me Both of which were huge hits. Hurley creates and models the brand's eponymous collection of beachwear. The track quickly caused debate as some critics accused it for promoting same-sex relations as well as others argued that the sexually explicit scene that it depicted was a sly way to appeal to men's fantasies about sexuality among females. I Kissed A Girl's mix of sensuality, polished music and a catchy chorus helped the song become a top 10 hit in a variety of countries. This led to the album One of the Boys (2007) selling well. Hot N Cold is a very popular track that is a second. Perry also wrote a lot of the lyrics for the album.
